Alternative Care Initiatives receive frequent requests from embassies, police, the public and foreign organisations to investigate suspicious activities by orphanages or foreigners visiting orphanages. We aim to use funds to undertake investigations, collect evidence and work with the police, judiciary and embassies to bring people to justice for illegal activities connected to orphanages such as child abuse, trafficking, neglect, financial fraud, misrepresentation of children and other child rights abuses, through our network of police, government workers and our own investigators.
